Rivermont Collegiate International Schools (RCIS) partners with institutions worldwide to offer students the opportunity to earn a premier Rivermont education. Through our Dual Diploma Program, graduates receive diplomas from both their home school and Rivermont Collegiate, meeting the same rigorous graduation requirements as Rivermont’s on-campus seniors.

This program equips students to meet and exceed the admission standards of competitive U.S. colleges and universities, positioning them for success at elite institutions and surpassing the entry requirements of many mid-level schools.

Rivermont Collegiate International Schools Dual Diploma Program

Based on the same rigorous college preparatory curriculum as Rivermont Collegiate’s home campus, the Dual Diploma Program offers a secure, certified transcript to position international students for college and university acceptance.

Curriculum

The Dual Diploma Program follows the same graduation requirements of Rivermont Collegiate graduating seniors. RVMT and RCIS graduation requirements meet the entrance requirements of competitive and elite U.S. colleges and universities and exceed the entrance requirements of mid-level colleges and universities.

The Director of International Programs oversees the curriculum and students’ transcripts.

Transcript Management

The heart of the Dual Diploma Program is the integrity of the student transcript. RCIS assures that United States, Canadian, Australian, British, and European schools have the same integrity as our RVMT campus transcript.

The Assistant Head of School for International Partnerships has sole access to the SIS, assuring the transcripts/grades are secure and free from manipulation. Transcripts are provided twice per year for each level of study. Final transcripts at year-end are signed, certified, and stamped. Transcripts are provided both digitally and in hard copy.

Student Information System (SIS)

RCIS uses PowerSchool and PowerSchool Pro as a Student Information System to manage grades and transcripts. Teacher grade books are reviewed and then locked by RCIS Management, and transcripts remain historically only available to the RCIS management.

Graduation

The Dual Diploma Graduation ceremony includes the RCIS Headmaster’s presentation of diplomas in person or via recorded greeting as needed and warranted.

The RVMT Headmaster and the RVMT President of the Board of Trustees sign diplomas. They are produced in the United States by Jostens Diploma Service and sent digitally and in hard copy by FedEx International.

Custom valedictorian and salutatorian medals with Rivermont Collegiate embossment are provided each year.
