Welcome to Camp Rivermont!

Camp Rivermont summer programming serves all ages and grade levels: Camp Rivermont – Early Childhood (ages 2-4), Camp Rivermont Montessori (ages 3-6), Camp Rivermont (grades K-5), Camp Rivermont (grades 6-8), and Rivermont – Summer Academies (grades 2-12).

Early Childhood for ages 2-4

Imagine a delightful summer camp designed exclusively for children ages 2 to 4, offering a holistic experience that nurtures their overall development. Camp Rivermont – Early Childhood offers a well-rounded program that includes indoor and outdoor activities and cognitive development, all wrapped in a different theme each week.

Early Childhood Montessori for ages 3-6

This program invites students to step into the enriching world of Montessori learning, providing an excellent jump-start for the upcoming school year. Through a mix of independent exploration and guided activities, children will immerse themselves in an environment that sparks curiosity and fosters academic and social growth. Summer offers returning students a seamless continuation of their educational journey. They will experience the satisfaction of deepening their skills, embracing new challenges, and forming new friendships. Whether choosing a half-day or full-day option, the Montessori program offers each child a balanced experience that combines structured learning with ample time for play and creativity.

Camp Rivermont for grades K-5

Our K-5 camp is vibrant and inclusive. It is dedicated to providing a holistic experience that nurtures the whole child through a blend of indoor and outdoor activities, cognitive development programs, and a fun environment.

Camp Rivermont for grades 6-8

Campers in grades 6-8 will enjoy a dynamic, enriching summer experience designed specifically for middle school students. This program emphasizes independence, collaboration, and leadership through hands-on activities, challenges, and creative experiences that engage and inspire older campers.

Activities at Camp Rivermont are organized around thematic weeks that promote problem-solving, teamwork, and exploration, while fostering confidence and strong peer connections in a fun, structured environment.

Embracing tradition, we kick off each day with a grand opening ceremony that sets the stage for exploration and camaraderie. The closing ceremony is a memorable event where achievements are celebrated, and lasting memories are made.

NEW Summer Academy Add-ons for Camp Rivermont

Rivermont Summer Academies have been popular with our older students. This year, we are offering Summer Academy add-ons for Camp Rivermont participants in grades 2–8. During the camp day, students may leave their camp group to attend an academy session on a specific area of interest, then rejoin their group for the remainder of the day’s activities. This allows students to enjoy both specialized learning and the full camp experience. Campers attending all day may add a Summer Academy session in the morning and another in the afternoon, if available.

Rivermont Summer Academies are available for students in grades 2 and up. Enrollment does not require participation in Camp Rivermont.

We are bringing back the SAT/ACT Math Prep Academy for students in grade 9 and up. SAT/ACT Math Prep Academy reviews key exam topics, including Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, while teaching proven test-taking strategies. Students complete diagnostic and follow-up assessments and receive targeted practice to build speed, accuracy, and confidence. Prior Algebra I and Geometry experience recommended.
