Where History Inspires Learning

At the heart of campus stands the Joseph W. Bettendorf Mansion, an English manor built in 1915. Today, it serves as a vibrant academic hub for Middle and Upper School students. Its historic character, combined with modern classrooms, creates a learning environment found nowhere else in the Quad Cities. Read more about the school’s history.

Purpose-Built Spaces for Every Age

Young learners begin their Rivermont experience in Becherer Hall, home to Early and Lower School classrooms as well as the cafeteria, auditorium, and gymnasium. These flexible learning spaces support creativity, curiosity, and active engagement—hallmarks of Rivermont’s approach.

Older students expand their learning in the thoughtfully designed STEAM Center, featuring advanced labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces that encourage innovation and problem‑solving.

A Global Home for Boarding Students

Rivermont offers two on‑campus residence halls that welcome students from around the world.
