Schools like ours are prime targets for cyber-attacks, and with Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 this October, our older devices will soon lack critical security updates. To keep our data safe, classrooms secure, and learning continuous, we must act now.
Funds will support
Updating to Windows 11–Compatible Devices
Ensure all school-owned computers and devices run the latest Windows 11 operating system by upgrading existing equipment or replacing outdated machines.
Why It’s Important:
- End of Windows 10 Support: Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 in October 2025. After this date, devices running Windows 10 will no longer get critical security updates, leaving them vulnerable to threats.
- Educational tools: Many new software applications and digital learning platforms need the latest operating systems to work correctly.
- Future-Readiness: Providing students and teachers with access to modern technology ensures the school stays aligned with higher education and workforce standards.
Enhancing Data Protection and Security
Implementing stronger safeguards to protect sensitive information—such as student records, family data, and financial systems—from cyber threats like hacking, phishing, and ransomware.
