Rivermont Collegiate Rowing Academy

The sport of rowing requires stamina, concentration, and teamwork; critical skills that help build intellect, character, and creativity. If you are interested in rowing on a college team, or even if you’re not, the Rivermont Collegiate Rowing Academy is an excellent way to train and develop these valuable skills. In partnership with Y Quad Cities Rowing, Rivermont Collegiate Rowing Academy students will benefit from coaches who are former Olympians, College Coaches, prep school Coaches, and National team rowers.

The program is lead by Coach Deidrah Kennedy a long-time rower and a US Rowing Association Level 1 Certified Coach. She brings her love of rowing and her collegiate, masters, club, and prep school coaching experience to Rivermont Rowing Academy.

The Academy, through its partnership, has access to 6 quads, 12 doubles, 12 racing singles and 3 beginner singles. Students will row on the beautiful Mississippi River and travel throughout the mid-west and the entire United States to compete with the best rowing programs in the country.

The Rivermont Rowing Academy is open to 6th through 12th-grade students. For more information, cost, and practice schedules, please use the form to contact Coach Kennedy.
