Rivermont Collegiate participates in the John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity program. Participating charities solicit pledges from supporters based on the number of birdies made by tour players during the tournament. Charities receive 100% of every donation.  Additionally, donors have a chance to win a grand prize. This year’s grand prize is a 2 year lease on a 2018 Lexus NX, courtesy of Lexus of the Quad Cities.

If you would like to mail in a pledge, download and print the Birdies for Charity Pledge Form. Please include ‘Rivermont Collegiate’ on the ‘Charity Solicited For’ line and Bird Number ‘1437’ before mailing.

Parents, Grandparents, alumni, and friends are all welcome to participate in the program. You do not have to be a local resident.

Thank you!

How it works

Simply make a one-time flat donation OR pledge one cent or more per birdie. After the tournament, you’ll be mailed a notice of your pledge amount due. To enter the contest, guess the number of birdies that will actually be made by Tour Pros during the tournament, Wednesday through Sunday. A grand prize will be given to the person who guesses the correct number. In case of ties, winners will be randomly selected.
