College Preparation

Academic advising and college counseling begins in 6th Grade with the development of an academic plan to select classes that ensure the right path for each student. The College Counselor plays an active role in every phase throughout Upper School, personally reviewing all aspects of a student's efforts from selecting colleges to which they will apply to researching scholarships to meeting all requirements and deadlines. Advising and counseling continue through college acceptance, Rivermont graduation, and even throughout life as an alumni. 100% of Rivermont graduates are accepted to 4-year colleges and universities.
